    3. Melissa, I answered your inquire about Jobe Ingram and Sara Jane Webb on the 13th, but I haven't heard from you so I thought maybe you didn't get my original message that was sent to your personal email address. So I thought I'd try using the INGRAM-L address, which is the address you used in your original message. From what you had in your message, Jobe Ingram appears to be my gggrandfather and Sara Jane is his second wife. The children could be his second family by Sara Jane. I would very much like to contact you about this. I have been looking for Jobe for quite some time. He disappeared from the Saline County, IL records in Oct of 1868 and I could find no trace of him since that time. Your information looks like the clue I have been looking for. Plears contact me at fcpearce@softdisk.com Look forward to hearing from you.

The relationship that I know is to Toss, Tollie and Ruby Ingram. This family lived in Carter County OK near the Love county line. Since you mention both counties, I feel sure we will connect. My system crashed and I am still having a little trouble with email but couldn't get a msg back to you. Carol Dumas Allen.

    3. Hello from 1st-time poster, I have a list of Ingrams from a photocopied family Bible page. I can't quite fit them together as a single family--must be siblings or cousins involved. Here goes: Jobe (Joe) Ingram spouse Sara Jane Zearing Webb (b abt 12 Sep1858 or 15 Dec 1828?, d 9 Sep 1873 or 77) I may have had 2 Saras. Others: 1. Timothy Ingram b 14 Dec 1860 2. Rebecca Anne Ingram (my line--do know this one) b 23 Jun 1863 Harrisburg, Saline Co, IL, d 13 Jul 1949 Ardmore, Carter Co, OK m 7 May 1884 in Courtney Flat, Love Co, OK to James Washington Hignight (have more info on their children if anyone interested) 3. Louisa Adalene Ingram b 19 Dec 1865 4. William David Ingram b 11 Aug 1868, d 26 Jan 1890 5. Jobe Ingram b 8 Nov 1870, d 7 Dec 1884 Any advice or aid in unscrambling would be appreciated. Thanks, Melissa

    2. Linda Schneider
    3. Hello, I received your email, I hope you can help. I have been hitting dead end after dead end. Let me be more specific: JOHN THOMAS INGRAM b. 1854 in Kansas married LOU ? His sister MARY ELLA INGRAM b. 1862 in Kansas. There are more siblings but I do not have anything on them. I do not really believe Kansas was the correct state because research has come up empty. The one that I am really looking for is their father JAMES LERONZO INGRAM. The papers I have say he was born in Kansas I can only estimate about 1820. I don't have the name of who he married, which would be JOHN and MARY's mother. I don't know where he died or is buried. Like I said I am hesitant to believe Kansas is the state, maybe Kansas City, MO. or Arkansas because my g-grandfather JAMES NEWTON INGRAM was born there in Aug 1885 (Montgomery County), but again I can't find them on the census. I do know that JOHN THOMAS is buried in Kirk, TX. I know that MARY ELLA married a man named George Gunn and is buried in Groesbeck, TX. I would like to find their siblings or mother and father JAMES LERONZO INGRAM. Any help would be great.

    1. [INGRAM-L] Slaven-Oslavin
    2. The Slaven line is an integral part of my main line. However, I have a problem reconciling the information I have. 1.If you use the Slaven line, then you are in the Neal, Slavens and Coatney line. If on the other hand you use the O'slavins line, you are in the Keithly, Montgomery and Spencer line. They both show the same individuals through three generations. I would appreciate any assistance I can get on this matter. King292@aol.com Thank you all.

    2. I am interested in researching my father's geneology. His father's name was Billy W. Ingram, of Georgia. He was a peanut farmer and horse trader. He and his wife had 11 children, one of which was my late father Billy W. Ingram, Sr. Apparently there is some mix up in some records somewhere because my dad was always known as BWI, Sr., to me and I have always been BWI, Jr. I recently read my parent's engagement announcement. Either it is wrong or I am technically Billy W. Ingram, III, I guess. Anyway, I would appreciate any help you can offer as I try to reconstruct my father's lineage. Thanks, Billy W. Ingram, Jr. [ ? :) ]
