    1. [INGEN] Obituaries
    2. Hello! I am a former resident of Gary, Indiana. Born and raised from 1953 to 1971, now living in Oregon. If hindsight was only foresight I would have done this, however, I would like to know if anyone would be so kind to look up obituaries for me. Robert Bailey died in either 1973 or 1974. He lived in Glen Park, Indiana. His wife we called Aunt Jay, [I think it was a nickname] and they had 4 children. Son, Greg and daughters, Barbara, Janice [and the last one I cannot remember]. He had one brother Edward, and a departed sister Ann [Edith Ann]. Haven't a clue to the funeral home. Ann [Edith Ann] Antol died in mid 60's. Husband Andrew was alive, they had no children. She had two brothers...Edward A. and Robert Bailey. [I remember going to some Catholic Church in Tolleston to see about Ann being buried there, but cannot say for sure that's where she is. Believe she may have been buried from Burns Funeral Home too, between 7th and Jackson and Broadway.] Andrew Bally or Baly died in either 1949 or 1950. Wife Barbara Yencik predeceased him, survived by Ann, Edward and Robert Bally, or Baly or Bailey. He is buried in the Tolleston Cemetery [not sure of spelling of my granpa's last name, we believe there may have been a name change. Believe he funeral home was the old Burns Funeral Home and I cannot remember the exact location ~ but believe it was 7th between Jackson and Broadway.] There is discrepency in the spelling of the last name. But I know that my granpa Andrew died before my oldest brother was born. Is there anyone who can do this research for me? Please contact me or respond to the board. I thank you for your time and dedication to this. Sincerely, Constance M. Bailey
