When we had our 1st birthday we were asked the status of our webpages for the county -- this way we had a comparrison on how much we had added/accomplished in coming years, etc. I forgot to send the 2nd birthday status and found my old unsent message today with the statistics on it, so am sending these stats at this time. Perry Co has grown to 5.5 megs of data online (no gifs) Spencer Co has grown to 1.5 megs of data online (no gifs) Gibson Co has grown to 3.2 megs of data online (no gifs) My lessons section (accessible from all 3 of these pages) has grown to 2.5 megs of info (no gifs). (I have since queried to see how much database stuff I had done since June and found that my Perry Co has increased just in past 5 months to 6.64 megs, Spencer to 1.9 meg, Gibson to 3.44 megs, and lessons to 2.7 megs) I am always amazed when I see how much I have added to the webpages and databases, when it always seems like I just am "getting no where" with my transcribing of births, deaths, marriages, census', etc. I also remember my military pages when they only had one or 5 names on them and I was wondering if anyone would REALLY want to see this page -- then out of the woodwork these persons who wanted their ancestors "honored on the military page" started sending me names, regiments, and other info about their kin. I now have hundreds of names (and I just this week found a group more names of soldiers in Civil War from newspaper articles in 1861 for Perry Co and will add those to my military pages this week). It is really AMAZING how much a single subject webpage can add up so quickly. Just thought I would send this info to Betty since I had failed to send back in June 98. Season's Greetings to All, Judy M.
