"He�s been one of the best links to history in the Washington Township area. There�s probably not a better link to the past than him.�� Julian Livingston agrees. The 66-year-old Bloomington resident was tracing the genealogy of his mother, who was from a different branch of Campbells. Livington is also writing a book titled ��The Campbell-Waldorff Connection�� and he wanted to connect the history of the Bowling Green area to his ancestors. ��I just contacted him,�� Livingston said. ��Generally genealogists turn over every stone they can find, and in turning over that stone, I came across a gold mine.�� Campbell had some glass negatives from the turn of the century. When Livingston looked at them closely, he couldn�t believe what he saw. ��They were pictures of some members of my family,�� Livingston said. ��If he hadn�t preserved these glass negatives, they just would have been dumped somewhere and that would have been the end of them.�� But Campbell refuses to let anything die away.
