My brother has an old file cabinet of my grandfathers down in his basement. He told me the Paulus family bible was in it and I went straight to his house to look at it....it wasnt the Paulus family it was Jones. I'm still trying to figure out why we have that bible, only have a couple Jones's in the family so I need to check deeper and get all the names from it...if it should happen to not be from my family I intend to try to locate the descendents too. Most of it is in Welsh (Jones was common there) and there are Welsh descendents in my family so hopefully I'll figure it out someday. Dont bother replying with your Jones family names...I dont have any of the names until I find time to go write them down. But when I do I'll post them here and hopefully someone will recognize one. P.S. The bible was in the basement at Eugene and Lela Huish's (both deceased) home in East Chicago Indiana until 1987 when my brother took the cabinet out, he just told me about it a month ago. If it was up to him (my brother) he'd throw it in the trash and someones priceless late 1800's bible would be gone. Hopefully I can keep that from happening!
