The biographies arent just for people of historical signifigance...a lot of little people built this country too (including my ancestors from Newton Co.), and their descendents are looking for them. If the Newton county GenWeb page had more than 2 census's and a query page in over 2 years time, I would think maybe the coordinator was going to do something towards getting more info online. You said you were busy getting census's online...that is fine, census transcription is VERY important. So why is there a problem with someone else putting up biographies that you never intended to put up in the first place? Aren't we all here to help people find their roots? If I had the slightest thought that you would work towards getting more biographies online, I would quietly offer to walk away and hand it over...but I dont see it happening. Until you do have such plans...why is there a problem with someone helping you get information to Newton county people? I don't want to fight...I just want to help people find their heritage...why do people have such a problem with cooperation?? I can get my 11 and 4 yr old daughters to help each other get something done...why can't adults in Indiana do the same? Kathy
