I just want to thank Keith for letting us know about the Genealogy Fair in Louisville. I live only 1 and half hr from there and do plan to attend. The Fair sounds like a real treat and at a great price too. I know I will be able to learn a lot in just general genealogy know-how and research. My ancestor Colonel (Hedgman Butler) Devers enlisted in the Confederate Army at Georgetown, Scott County KY (not so far from Lousiville) at age 18 so I presume that he lived there with his family. I do find other Devers in Scott County, KY. I want to learn what then took him to Rush County, IN where he married Della Priest in Dec 1869, had two other marriages, later become a Quaker, and lived out his life as a Hoosier!! I look forward to this Genealogy Fair to maybe answer some of these questions and if not, I know I'll learn a lot. So, again I am most thankful to Keith for letting us in the southern Indiana area know about this. There are lots of opportunities out there but we depend on each other to spread the word!!
