I grew up in Fairmount, Grant Co., IN. Our school use to take classes on field trips to the Ball Bros. factory (1960s). I remember it being interesting, as we used the Ball Mason jars in our house. I most likely still have a few. I believe they also had a section like a museum, showing the Ball Bros. Mason jars and other things they manufactured, also history on the Ball brothers. I hadn't thought about all of this in quite some time. Ball Memorial Hospital and Ball State University, in Muncie are both named for the brothers. I am sure that there is a lot of documentation on the Ball Bros. as well as pictures, etc. there in Muncie.
