Hi , Well I am still here,just been busy this weekend.I do want to thank all those that sent your notes telling me I was doing a good job,they are appreciated.I couldn't do it without all of you tho. We have a new volunteer for Henry County,her name is Linda Aker and she has re-worked the site,it looks great,when you get the time take a look at it at; http://www.rootsweb.com/~inhenry/henry.htm We need to check our link to the USGenWeb site,there were three address' that I passed along a few months ago,one of those is no longer any good,here are the two good URLs to the USGenWeb site; http://www.usgenweb.org/ http://www.usgenweb.net/ The one with the .com on the end no longer has the USGenWeb info. Sam sent me a note about the Indiana State Library getting rid of some old newspapers,if you think your local Gen. INDIANA STATE LIBRARY Library Material Deaccessioning Listserv As instructed by the Indiana Library and Historical Board, the Indiana State Library will be offering deaccessioned material to Indiana libraries and historical societies. E-mail address changes, deletions, etc. should be directed to jsarber@statelib.lib.in.us. Initially each list will consist of ten (10) titles. Included for each title will be author, title, call number, publisher, Indiana State Library holdings, subject heading(s), and condition (i.e. poor condition, bound etc.) as appropriate. Later the size of each list may vary depending on amount of material, availability of holding area storage space and staff responsibilities. Material will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. Requests should be e-mailed to hoster@statelib.lib.in.us within thirty (30) days of initial posting. Requesting library or historical society must pay any shipping charges or arrange for pickup. Pickup must take place no later than thirty (30) days following notification by the Indiana State Library that your library or society has been selected to receive requested material.
