The project has learned that individuals associated with the server where our main URL was housed have formed a corporation, USGenWeb, Inc. Since The USGenWeb Project was founded on the belief of "free access for all," we are concerned there may be public confusion about the relationship between this for-profit corporation and The USGenWeb Project.
