Basically as I see it ROOTSWEB has put up County Clusters to provide resources that are on their servers for all the counties in the USA. Some feel in IN(US)GENWEB this a direct competition and even a stab in the back as a way to take over the web resources for all the counties from INGENWEB. Some People in IN(US)GENWEB beleive that they own ALL the rights to provide those resources. BUT THAT ain't so!! There are other Genealogy oriented organizations doing the exact same thing! just not in the exact same way!! However, I feel Rootsweb County Clusters is just another way to provide an avenue( just another Link)!! for people to locate info on the county. Thus After reading what was going on I went ahead and suscribed to the ROOTSWEB COUNTY CLUSTER to be the coordinator for their COUNTY Cluster page for Clark Co,IN. I will ADD a link to the COUNTY Cluster page from my INGENWEB page to allow our visitor and easy avenue(LINK) to additional resources!!!!! No, I won't pull my page from ROOTSWEB As I feel it is a free way to supply space for my web page. However, each CC has the right to place their County on almost any family oriented ISP.
