Hi everyone! My name is Marty Goodson, live in Hayden, Idaho, have been doing genealogy for about 3 years actively. Surnames researching: HALL, REIFSTECK, NORTON, SJORDAL, DOUGLAS, KAISER, CASSIDY, WEAVER, MANFRED, TENNESON, to start with. I am looking for any information on the Reifstecks who might have traveled to Wisconsin. Charlotte Reifsteck was born to parents who were from Montana (father) & Illinois (mother). But I have been corresponding with someone from Indiana who gave me the impression that the majority of Reifstecks came from the Indiana area. For whatever reason, Charlotte Reifsteck was in Idaho in 1918 when she married my grandfather, Alva Hall. The 1920 census showed she was 31 years of age, (birthdate would have been around 1889), she died supposedly in 1923 somewhere between Idaho & Wisconsin, since my grandfather & my grandmother had my father in Wisconsin in 1928.
