One of our Ms County Coordinator's has lost everything last night in a tornado disaster... I am passing on the following email which might be of interest to you.... Betty =========== Thanks for letting us know, Ginger. Was this tornado last night? I'd not heard anything about this until now although the Kosovo news is taking most of the headlines. I'd also wondered why Terry's address had bounced off the list. If you speak with either her or her family again please let them know they are in our prayers. If you want to participate, here's what you need to do: Drop me a line at quiltinpig@aol.com letting me know you're planning to participate. Get a 12 x 12 square of cotton fabric, white or pastel (prints are okay as long as they're pale--you don't want the fabric to overpower the writing). Get a fabric marker (easiest to find is Sharpie's rub-a-dub laundry marker...a regular Sharpie is *not* permanent on fabric) and sign your square and write whatever you want to say to Terry on it. Mail it to me at 15900 Avalon, South Holland, IL 60473 to arrive on or before April 21st. I will make one quilt (can put squares front *and* back if there are enough), and if there are more squares than that, I'll do whatever seems appropriate, depending on quantity (pillow tops, other quilt tops, etc. If there is enough for a second quilt, I may ask for a volunteer to sash and tie that one..... All signature squares will get to Terry one way or another. At least they'll start back out with *something* that's clearly not brand-new-store-bought, that feels sort of homey.<G> piglet (megan zurawicz) ICQ: 18429839 genealogy-- http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~piglet quilting-- http://pages.prodigy.net/mspiglet theatre-- http://members.aol.com/tupacratz/poohpix.htm
