Indiana Historical Society To Host Genealogy Lecture Indianapolis - The Indiana Historical Society will host a lecture by genealogist Lloyd Hosman on January 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The lecture, titled Doing Research Using Census Records, will examine different types of information that can be found using census records, how to use the census to do genealogy research, and how to get the most out of the census records. The cost to attend the lecture is $5 to the general public. IHS members may attend the lecture for free. Seating is limited and pre-registration is encouraged.
