Randy, I appreciate your help but I am more concerned about your health. Only if you feel up to a little Sunday drive. The stone is located next to Mary E. Gray a small red granite stone about 2/3 of the way back on the right. Phileatus Gray is an upright white military type stone and very difficult to read. I did not think Phileatus was related because I was always told his name was John. I was also told they married one day and he left for the war (Civil War) the following day and never heard from again. After researching I found the marriage license and Mary did marry Phileatus. Now, I need to compare the dates and any other information that might be on the stone to what I was able to find on-line about the National Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Info I received: Buried: Nashville National Cemetery; Private, Company "C" 37th Indiana Infantry; Died 2/13/1863. If the information is the same I figure the stone in Harmony cemetery is a memorial stone. I made a request to the National Archives but they did not have any record of him. So, any help I may receive will be appreciated in untangling this little mystery. They did not have any children and she is my g-greataunt. Just want to try and have all the facts on our family history. I know her greatnephew will appreciate in knowing because he does not believe what I have found so far and I figured the only way he will believe is to have documentation. Thanks Randy for any help, but first, don't over extend yourself and end up in bed again. Jackie
