Hi. My husband is from the Stokes line. I believe your husbands great+ grandfather and mine were the same man--Mahlon Stokes. Mahlon's father was William. That is as far as I have gotten in our research. Did you contact Juanita Reedy a while back? Someone did and she had some things I had given her on the Stokes line. According to the obituary for Mahlon, he had siblings including some half-siblings also. Mahlon is the only one of George's children I have any knowledge of. Do you have any leads?
