    3. Researching George and Christian BOHRER 1837 - 1856 Highland Township, Franklin County. Also appreciate any information on their good neighbors George, Rheinhardt and Jacob SHINDELDECKER; David and George SCHMIDT; August WILLIE. Also trying to locate the church and cemetery records for ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH located on Pine Road 1 and 1/4 mile west of Saint Peters on the Blue Creek. The congregation was established in 1844 and was desolved by the 1880's. ZION LUTHERAN CEMETERY is on the cemetery restoration list and a sign was errected this past spring in memory of the early pioneers buried there. See the Franklin County PCRP web site for pictures and information. I would also like to thank Richard Fussner and his daughter Jenifer for their time spent in cutting trees and clearing brush from the cemetery. Hopefully by some time next year a slit rail fence will be errected. Volunters will be needed as well as someone who can give expert advice on construction of a split rail fence from scratch using native raw materials, ( not pre-cut ). Contact Randy or myself if you have any advice to offer on the split rail. Thanks! Don Bohrer
