Does there exist any church records or church histories for Franklin county? The marriage license of my gr-grandparents, Alexander W. Johnston and Elizabeth E. Hays, issued in 1853, lists the marriage ceremony performed by Thomas Williams, Minister of the Gospel in the M.E. Church. Thanks for any information....
