I just checked the state Pioneer Cemetery Restoration Project website for a listing of how many people from each county has sent in the petition signed to be taken to the State Legislature next week when the committees hear testimony on pending cemetery legislation. Here are the local totals.... Franklin County--0 Fayette County--2 (mine and my wife's) Sad but true. If you still care to download the petition and sign it, I can give you an e-mail address to send a scanned copy of your signature on the petition. We were hoping to get 1000 names. BTW it down't matter whether you live in Indiana or not. If you have ancestors buried in Indiana it IS of concern to you and your names are valuable as well..
