Hello, I'm new to the list, and looking for any info or suggestions on how to find more on: JAMES ROSS (b.March 3, 1786 - d. Nov. 26, 1836 Brookville, Franklin Co., IN. Married October 13, 1799 to ELIZABETH WINSHIP (b. March 19, 1785, New London, CT - d. 1869 Nobelsville, Franklin CO., IN). Elizabeth was the daughter of Jabez Lathrop Winship and Hannah Forsythe, and that family is pretty well known. James Ross, is a total mystery man. They had two sons, Samuel Ross and Jabez Winship Ross. Samuel Ross married CANDACE MAKER on 7/3/1826. Anybody know these early settlers? Thanks, Susan
