Capt. Huff's Company also known as the 7th Regiment of the Indiana Militia from l3 March to l7 June l8l3 had a Pvt. James Bailey. His wife was named Patience. In some accounts of him he is listed as a musician. (War of l8l2) Does anyone know if he had a son by the name of James Bailey? He later moved to Ohio and died there. (Butler Co.) If he had a son James Bailey this son may have married my great great grandmother, Susana Goodwin in l857 in Iowa after the death of her first husband, Samuel F. Goodwin.
