    1. [INFRANKLI-L] ABRAHAM/HARDING/GEORGE/MARLIN
    2. These are the surnames firmly rooted in the earliest years in Franklin Co. The Pennsylvanian, Ben ABRAHAM, purchased land in Franklin Co. in 1811 while still living in Bracken Co., KY. HIs two daughters, Nancy and Susannah, married (separate times, of course) John HARDING, Jr., born 1790 in Augusta Co., VA and they lived in Butler Co., OH. The HARDINGs lived in Decatur Co. at the county line with Franklin Co. The ABRAHAMs and HARDINGs married MARLINs, GEORGEs, and many others in Franklin Co. I have much of this information, but not yet all in my FTM. Some of the ABRAHAMs lived in Metamore. Some in Salt Creek Twp., Decatur Co. Many moved on to the western lands. If you have any of these surnames, please contact me. Shirley Maynard
