Hi Franklin Indiana researchers A light bulb went on this morning after visiting the link that Randy Klemme so graciously gave us. When I connected to the link it stated that Franklin Indiana was formed in 1811, I think. Well, information I was given about my G.G. Grandfather David Fletcher marrying Rebecca Tarwater in 1806 in Franklin In must be incorrect if Franklin wasn't formed until 1811. What areas made up the county what county was Franklin prior to becoming it's own county? Maybe the county they were married in became Franklin. I did find David shown on the 1812 War Muster Rolls online in Franklin IN, so I know they had been there during that time frame. Could someone please tell me which counties Franklin came from? I visited the Franklin In genweb page but it doesn't state where Franklin originated from. Thanks Everyone Jean
