In researching my Davis, Wakefield, Higgs et al lines I have two separate reports from two separate family lines that they came from Rush IN. This caused a great deal of false leads until I found them all strongly entrenched in Brookville Twsp, Franklin Co from 1810 (possibly earlier) until late 1860s. How can two separate family histories have them from Rush IN when I can find no evidence there was ever any time that part of Rush or Franklin Co were ever part of each other? Was there a small town in Brookville Twsp, IN called Rush? Any enlightenment on this will be most appreciated. Frank Dickson
