Hi Am searching for info. on James Stout, b. 1818 NJ m. Sarah "Sallie" Egbert b. 1822 NJ. shown living in Franklin County on 1850 census with James' mother, Nancy (?), widow. One known brother: William H. Stout b. 1824 NJ, m. Sarah Lawrence, daughter of Philip Lawrence in Dearborn Co. abt. 1857. William H. and his widowed mother Nancy arrived in Franklin Co. in 1845 and lived on the property of Aaron Line in Butler Twp. Anyone with info. on the James Stout family living in Delaware County 1840 census-or Aaron Stout b. 1813 and his wife Jane, on 1850 DearbornCo., Lawrence Twp. census, please contact me. Am very close to proving that Sarah A. Egbert, wife of James Stout, was daughter of Isaac Egbert and Mary Lanning of Franklin County. Any assistance would be so appreciated. Thanks to all.
