    3. In response the Mari's post. Hackleman was German Luthern. He was asked to leave the church because of a little too much tippling. I am wondering about the migration route too. I think they came up the Ohio River to Rush County and probably overland from there, ever traveling westward from the looks of it. Their descendants wound up in Missouri, one went to Kansas and back several times. Patricia Kantzer
