    3. Researching COOK, HALL, HATCHER, HOLTRY, MILLER, TIMBERMAN, ZIMMERMAN http://members.tripod.com/~GeneaNel/ Hi Lois, Looks like you and my husband, Bruce, are "cuzzins" thru the Petree/Snowden families. Below is what I have on Henry Petree on down. We are connected thru James Walter Hatcher and Mary Elizabeth Petree. You can also find this on my site at http://members.tripod.com/~GeneaNel/ under the Hatcher Families Can you correct/add-to this? I also have a Miller cousin whose ggparent was a Hanna (in MO) and there are Blacks in my Miller family (but think they came from OH to IA). Family history also says that Sarah Miller md Edward Jones, very possibly in FranklinCo as that is where her brother, William, was married. 2. In response to Sherri Sears surname posting: Sherri and I have shared Wright family information before, but for the general interest, here is an excerpt from From James Lielland's "Some Descendants of Revolutionary War Soldier Thomas Curry of Franklin Co. In.": "MILTON OWSLEY CURRY, Born 12 Aug. 1862, just one week before his father and namesake was mustered in for Civil War service, to 8 Dec. 1932 at New Castle, In. Milton was called 'Caes', to differentiate him from his father, and to describe a youthful trait of taking charge like a 'little casesar'. Milton O. Curry marr. 10 July 1887 at Franklin Co. to Ida Jane Wright, B. 11 Aug. 1863 at Madison Co. In. to 22 Febr. 1943 at New Castle, daughter of James and Lucinda Briggs Wright. Lucinda was born 14 Febr. 1828 at Fleming Co. Ky., one of 7 children of Andrew and Matha Briggs, and died 31 Oct. 1903. She and James Wright were marr. 7 June 1847 and spent 56 years together. Their other children were: Mrs. Mariah Smith; William T.; Jotham and Jesse. Two others died in infancy. Ida J. Wright Curry became a member of the Methodist Protestant Church as Duck Creek, Franklin Co. on 12 June 1881, at the age of 16. Later, she and her husband became members of the First United Brethren Church at New Castle, In. Milton and Ida Jane moved from Franklin Co. to Indianapolis, In. about 1891, where their third son was born. In 1904 they followed Jotham Wright to Custer Co., Okla. and later moved to Beggs, Okla. While in Oklahoma, they farmed and also worked on an Indiana Reservation. In 1914 they returned to Indiana, moving to New Castle, In. and in 1917 both of their sons joined the army. A tornado on 11 Mar. 1917 destroyed their home; they then bought a home at 1202 S. 17th St. in New Castle, where they remained for the rest of their lives. Milton O. and Ida J. Wright Curry are buried at South Mound Cemetery, New Castle, In."
