I will post all just as soon as I can. If you do not see your names posted as of yet...they are coming....trust me. Thanks Janet for a great idea.. Randy Klemme Franklin County Genealogy Coordinator

Capt. Huff's Company also known as the 7th Regiment of the Indiana Militia from l3 March to l7 June l8l3 had a Pvt. James Bailey. His wife was named Patience. In some accounts of him he is listed as a musician. (War of l8l2) Does anyone know if he had a son by the name of James Bailey? He later moved to Ohio and died there. (Butler Co.) If he had a son James Bailey this son may have married my great great grandmother, Susana Goodwin in l857 in Iowa after the death of her first husband, Samuel F. Goodwin. Are there any of you who know about the BAILEY FAMILY?????? Sincerely , Susan

Hello folks, Most lists are set up this way, I've discovered. When I want to respond directly to the sender, I massage my browser (I.E.) in the following way: 1. Hit "Reply to Author" or "Reply to All" or "Forward". 2. Don't sent this message; instead click on the address of the originator, in the following example [randyk@si-net.com]. You will get a new message format addressed to the originator. Fill in the appropriate subject, text and then send. 3. Delete the screen that you got in step 1. I think you can also open "Reply to All" and then in the "To:" line, highlight and delete the address of the list leaving the originator's address. Then add your text and send. I haven't tested this lately, however! not an expert, Harold Clupper halclup@chesco.com (Chester Co., PA) ---------- > From: Randy Klemme <randyk@si-net.com> > To: INFRANKLI-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [INFRANKLI-L] Surname List > Date: Sunday, October 04, 1998 3:13 AM > > That is the way rootsweb has it set up...I can see if I can change it > through the coordinator utilities. Researching COOK, HALL, HATCHER, HOLTRY, MILLER, TIMBERMAN, ZIMMERMAN http://members.tripod.com/~GeneaNel/ Hi Dave, If any of your Hanna family went to MO, you might want to contact my cousin, Jerry Miller, at Acam69@aol.com I believe it was his ggfather who was a Hanna. Cheers, Nel
Hi. Sure am sorry I caused so much confusion in replying to a posting. When I saw my family lines posted, I just replied instead of replying to the "poster". Guess we all will learn something from my haste. Anyway, keep up the good work, Randy. Thanks for your time and effort.
That is the way rootsweb has it set up...I can see if I can change it through the coordinator utilities. I have never had this question brought up by anyone in the 9 months that we have had the list, so I don't know what the answer is, but I will see if I can get it changed... Researching COOK, HALL, HATCHER, HOLTRY, MILLER, TIMBERMAN, ZIMMERMAN http://members.tripod.com/~GeneaNel/ Hi Randy, I guess I'm confused. I responded to an individuaal who posted a msg to INFRANK and it ended up being posted to the list. Now I see a msg from someone who also appears to be responding to the author. This msg states he is interested in the surnames this individual posted, but no clue what those names are or who the individual might be. Why, when I click "reply to author" (and not "reply to all"), does it go to the entire list? Do we have a glitch here? Thanks, Nel
