D. SCOTT Funeral services were held at Pine Hill Methodist Church near Patton, Thursday, August 6 for B. D. Scott, 80 years old, who died at his home near Patton August 4. Rev. John Long conducted services and burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery. Mr. Scott was born February 19, 1873 in Greenwood, Ind. He was married December 26, 1894 to Maggie Brewer, also of Greenwood, who preceded him in death February 8, 1920. He was a member of the Pine Hill Methodist Church. Mr. Scott is survived by seven children; Harry G. of Overland, George C. of Greenville, Ill., Ralph W. and Frank L. of Fredericktown, Preston B. of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Marion Smith of Patton and Mrs. Arthur Gray of Kirkwood; also, a sister, Mrs. George W. Husted of Parma; a brother, John G. Scott of Caryville, N.Y.; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; three nephews and four nieces.
