I have found Kerian (or whatever) in the household of a "John B. (Jock - Jack - Jake) His wife was Mary F. -- both of these were born in France. At least three of their children were born in France and rest in Indiana. Kerin was born between 1850-1852 in Indiana. I think they all lived in Floyd Knobs. I am a "German" researcher but not a "French" I don't know my way around French genealogy. Since the father's name is John B., would it have originally been "Jean"? Two older boys were John and Joseph. What would Joseph be in French. I want to look for them coming into New Orleans and I need "real' names. Thank you very much for being so helpful. Marilyn
