Also on 1870 census Floyd Co., pg 320 b: Fowler, George B, age 44, occ. steamboat pilot; Mary S. age 40;. In same household: Ligntner, George age 24, occ. steamboat pilot. All b. Indiana. Also in same household: Sands, Ida age 15 b. KY; Hanmore, Carrie age 7, b.Illinois. Both children "at school". There are other Fowlers on the Floyd Co. 1870 census.
