Alois Bir married Mary C Goedeker (?) (the question mark is from the transcriber, not me) in Clark County on 19 Feb 1895, source is book R, page 193. The family is in the 1900 census for Clark county, Carr township, ED 2, page 7A, and was headed by Alois Bir, 30, born Feb 1870, married 5 years, a blacksmith, and included his wife Mary, 23, Oct 1876, married 5 years, mother of 4 all of which were still living, his daughter Clara, 4, Nov 1895, his daughter Agnes, 2, Jul 1897, his daughter Zila, 1, Feb 1899, and his son Cletus, 2/12,, Apr 1900. All were born in Indiana as were both parents except for the mother of Alois who was born in Germany. Hope this helps. Don
