I have found Augustus Jocelyn on the 1870 New Albany Floyd County census with wife Jane, sons Augustus & James W., and daughters Helen & Hannah R. On the 1880 census Jane is h/h and with son Jas. Wm., daughter Ellen Caroline (I believe this is one & same as Helen) , son-in-law Jos. Wright & daughter-in-law Hannah Rebeka Wright. I believe this is in error and that Hannah Rebeka is a daughter married to Jos. Wright. Can anyone in the New Albany area check for an obit for Augustus Jocelyn, advising cost of copies etc. I also feel that one of these Augustus Jocelyn's may have been a Methodist Minister, more than likely the elder Jocelyn.
