John UTZ was a son of Adam and Margaret (SHOAR) UTZ, who came first to Harrison Co. abt 1810 from Virginia, then moved to Floyd Co. ************************ Mr. Bruce Gentry of Georgetown brought in a bible dated about 1879. It contains name and birth dates for the family of John H. and Minerva Utz - he was born 1818, she 1820. Their children are July Ann, Jeremiah, Adam, Daniel R., Levi J., John M., George W., Rosy R., Lewis M., Margaret Elizabeth, Andrew J., and William H. Mr. Gentry is willing to give the bible to a member of this family. He did not leave the bible with us. If this family is in your line, we would be glad to put you in touch with Mr. Gentry.
