Hi group, I am a new member to this group. I am researching the Castlen/Castlin surname. Andrew Castlen married Evaline Ort in October of 1833 in New Richmond, Ohio,,,,Eva was born in New Albany, In. Andrew and Eva ( Andrew's second wife, his first marriage was to Nancy Leet) lived in New Albany and were in the Merchantile business... he was also a "Cooper" by another trade. Andrew died in New Albany. Feb. 19, 1859. Andrew also had a son, Andrew L. Castlen who also resided in New Albany. He was married to Anna Plumer........ If anyone has any access to any History of New Albany Books or can find any biographys on this family,,,,or really,,,,,just any reference to them it would be much appreciated if you could share that info with me....I have hit a dead end with this line and I need some new leads to continue my research on this Castlen line........
