What little I know: My father and grandfather were both born in New Albany. My grandfather was Elmer Bernard Ayers, born 1900, died 1969 in Bloomington IN. What I remember him saying is that he was the youngest of 12, his mother dying shortly after birth. His father's name was John William Ayers, b.?, d. 1914? Can anyone fill in some details of these people?
