I am looking for information on a Frank Kruer b: 1859; d: 10/16/1888. He was married to Sophia Sommerkamp and had two children that I know of, Mayme Kruer and Joseph A. Kruer. He died before Joseph was born (02/28/1889). Joseph A. Kruer m. Mary Ann Scholl and had Albert, Edward, Josephine, Vern, Rosella (?), Cellastine and Frank (not in that order). Frank M. Kruer m. Catherine Woodring (my grandparents) and had Frank and Lawrence. Frank M. Kruer, Jr. m. Cleo Faye Whitaker (my parents) and had Renea (me) and Frank Mr. Kruer, III. Sometime after the eldest Frank Kruer (of those listed) died Sophia Sommerkamp married an Arthur Krack (in case that name has been mentioned in connection with the Kruers). I have been told that my Kruer line settled in the "Knobs" after coming to the states from Germany. I am at a dead end on how to find the eldest Frank's parents and siblings. I know the Frank Kruer that I am looking for was in Louisville by 1886. Any help?
