I am hoping to connect with any descendant of Patrick and Lydia (Barker) Carroll. Patrick was the brother of my grandmother, Anna (Carroll) Gibbs. He lived most of his adult life in New Albany, IN. I am seeking parent information for Patrick's father, William Carroll, and mother, Anna (Minton) Carroll. Here is what I have: William Carroll b. abt. 1837, 1843, 1846, Co. Minton/Minter, possibly Hardin Co., KY b. 1853, Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY d. 1941, Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN Children of William and Anna: 1). James Dionisius (abt. 1874 - bef. 1900) 2). Maggie (1876-1958), buried Cannelton, IN - m. Joseph Uehlein on 20 May, 1902, Perry Co., IN - one child - Joe 3). Joseph W. (1878 - d.?), buried Louisville, KY - m. Elizabeth Sly, - no children 4). Anna J. (1886-1952), buried Rockport, IN - m. George Gibbs on 29 May, 1906, Perry Co., IN - children: Georgia, Carroll, Bill, Hargy 5). Patrick (1890 - d.?) prob. buried New Albany, IN - m. Lydia Barker on 13 Jan, 1912 in Perry Co., IN - children: Charles, Joseph, Marvin, Robert, Irvin 6). One unknown child (b.? - bef 1900)- 1900 Census, Anna states 6 children,4 living I would like to hear from anyone that might have information about this family and in particular, I would like to get information that would lead me to the next generation back from William Carroll and Anna Minton.
