from the New Albany Public Press 2 May 1900 p 8 c 4 Application for License To the Citizens of Georgetown Township, Floyd County, Indiana: Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will apply to the Board of Commissioners of Floyd county, Indiana, at their next regular session, June, 1900, for a license to retail intoxicating, spirituous, vinous and malt liquors in a less quantity than a quart at a time, with the privilege of allowing the same to be drank on the premises where sold. The building is a one story frame and the saloon is in the rear part of the front room, 16x38 feet in size, in said building, which has a glass front with curtains that can be so adjusted as to give a full view of the saloon on days required by law, and fronts on the public road between Edwardsville and Georgetown. He disires to also conduct a grocery business in the same building. His place of business is located as follows: On a lot in the northwest corner of the south west quarter of section 33, township 2, range 5 east, and bounded as follows: Beginning 65 feet west of the northwest corner of the tract of land deeded to Mary A.
