I am there on Thursday mornings. I don't know a lot about the locations, but there is a map. She can contact me if she is coming in. Usually someone from the cemetery is there and should be able to help, unless there is a funeral or a grave to be dug at the other cemetery. He has a cell phone number posted on the door, in case he is out of sight. spc ----- Original Message ----- From: "Antoinette Waughtel" <waughtel@oz.net> To: <infloyd@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 11, 2006 5:08 PM Subject: Re: [INFLOYD] BURIAL NOS. Thanks Sue. A. H. Nunemacher was the son-in-law of John Sinex. He was married to John's daughter Catherine. I believe the earliest picture that I have of the Sinex Vault was taken in the 70s as I got it from my mother. I have several pictures of the Vault and from several different branch descendants. Our family was always told that there was a "gold" key that fit into the door, but for some reason it seems there had also been a wrought iron gate there also. When I was told of the "gold" key I thought they may have mixed it up with the gold headed cane that Thomas "willed" to his son Thomas (according to his will) and then to his son Elisha and then Elisha's son Thomas "forever" or words of that effect. Nevertheless it has dissappeared and after the younger Thomas death in 1921 or thereabouts. But stories "abound" through out family histories. If this cousin Trudy in New Jersey does actually plan to go to New Albany again, would it be possible for her to contact you since you seem to know your way around Fairview and I do know Trudy plans to go to Fairview again, I'm just not sure when. She & her husband just returned from an Alaskan cruise. Antoinette (Tacoma, Washington)
Sounds great. Thanks, I will let her know all this. Antoinette ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue P.
