Most of our folks came from DuBois County. Tradition claims family began with Henry Sr. over from England in 1780 to Virginia. Had son Henry then came to Indiana thru Kentucky.None of this documented. His son was Govenor Henry Shelby Atkins who was born in Kentucky. His son was my Great-Great Grandfather, Martin Atkins.This and subsequent ancestors are documented. Someplace down the line we are related.
