New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana Public Press Tuesday 26 Sept 1911 p8 c4 Mrs. J. A. Schrieber received a letter stating that her uncle, Mr. John L. Lamb, a contractor of Grand Island, Neb., was killed by a railroad train at that place. He formerly lived at New Albany. He was eighth-three years of age and is survived by his wife and daughter, Miss May Lamb.
