This has been a frustrating family to find. Surely the census taker didn't miss him every time. I found a birth record of his son, Orvil Asbury, born 18 Aug 1867 in Ripley IL. And you stated he had a Charles Seward, born 1865. Do you have any more children? Also his wife's birth and death info. I would really appreciate hearing from you. Shirley Taylor
