New Albany Indiana newspaper, Public Press, dated 29 Apr 1914 p 5 c 1 Many people called at the undertaking establishment of Newland Gwin, East Third and Market streets to view the body of an unidentified man who was kiled by being knocked from the Silver Creek bridge, a half a mile east of the city, by a Baltimore and Ohio Southwestern freight train Wednesday night, but the identity of the body has not been established. Frank Beaucond, manager for the Home Telephone Company, after looking at the body expressed the belief that it was that of a telephone lineman from Pineville, Ky., who had applied to him for employment a few days ago. Mr. Beaucond did not know the man's name.
