James was born in 1849, so I'm guessing Mary was born bet. 1850-1860. I found two Mary Russells from New Albany on the 1860 census from these families: JAMES RUSSELL, 40, engr., b NC SONIA A. 35, b NC Sevi(?), 16,male, b IN Mineniah(?) 14, female, b. IN Susan 12 Mary T or F 10 Jamie H 8, male Charles M 6 Adaline 4 Isabella 2 WILLIAM RUSSELL engr. b 1824-1830 NC ELSA 29, b LA William 11 b IN Joseph 5 Charles 4 Arabella 2 Armondo 2 Mary 5 mo. I would appreciate leads to any members of these families. Mary died in TX (most likely Webb Co.) in the 1890's. Nanci [email protected]
