I havent heard anything on her coming from NY state although her birthstate hasnt been confirmed, NY was not a birthstate listed on any census. Where did you read that she came from NY?...It is thought that Rizpah's mother was a widow when they came to Ohio/Mich area which was pre 1824(Homer b.
