He was born in VA. He married Lucy DARNELL in 1826 inKY and Catherine Ann MARSH EDWARDS in 1838 in New Albany, Floyd Co. IN. I believe his birth date is 1787. Their children may have been Shelby PREWITT -1839 and Kate PREWITT(1846or 1843). There is a chance that he was a veteran of the war of 1812. In 1850 he was a proprietor of a livery stable in Louisville,KY. Can anyone help me with this man and/or family? Thanks in advance.
