Richard H. Wade was born July 15th, 1859 near Chapel Hill, Indiana. On December 30th, 1880 he was united in marriage with Miss -Lenora ,Ellen Schreiber, of Mooresville, Indiana. After having lived in Indiana for a number of years, he removed to Kansas, and later to Oklahoma, returning to New Albany in 1906, where .he engaged in business. On March 10th, 1912 his wife passed away, and on January 24th, 1916 he was married to Miss Frances Plumer Morris. Mr. Wade continued to make his home in New Albany until death claimed him on July 26th. He is survived by his wife; by five sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Klise, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. William Schleischer, of Borden, Indiana, Mrs. J. M. Schmidt, of New Albany, Mrs. Robert Clark, of Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Frank Roche, of Sacramento, California; by two brothers, Lindsey Wade, of New Albany, and Byron Wade, of Borden, Indiana; by his children, Edna, Ruth, Cleatis, Dorothy, and Haven, by other relatives and many friends.
