Clark County Indiana records show; William and Sarah migrated to Indiana around 1800. In 1803, they bought 132 acres of land in Union Township, Clark County, Indiana Territory near Charleston. William died in Union Township, Indiana Territory in 1814 and in 1832, Sarah sold the 132 acres of land to Joseph Reed, their oldest son. In 1837, Joseph Reed sold the farm to John Armstrong.
