    2. Hi A couple of months ago, I saw a post on this list regarding Fairview and the oldest vault in there. Someone has a website with pictures on it. Our Girl Scout troop has planned a trip there and I wanted to relay the story of the vault to them, but wanted to have the correct info. Can someone send me the link to that page again. Thanks Teresa

    3. Teresa ~ I don't know if mine "The Thomas Sinex Family Vault" is the oldest or not but it was established circa 1850 ~ please feel free to see it on my website along with a picture and an article on it, and a listing of some of the known persons to be buried there. The url is http://www.fortunecity.com/millenium/savannah/252/cemetery.htm and I truly hope you enjoy it, even if it isn't the "oldest". Let me know your thoughts on it if you wish. I have heard in the past week or so that it has been repaired somewhat. I would dearly love an updated picture if this is true. Will pay for costs of copy & postage, etc. This Thomas Sinex (wife Flora West) were married in New Albany circa 1817/1818 and are my 3rd great grandparents. Enjoy. His son was my Great-Great Grandfather, Martin Atkins. This and subsequent ancestors are documented. Someplace down the line we are related.
